Caden can!! :

• Do the 90 degress flip like a pro
• he can't wait to grow up! Wanting to "stand" and crawl! When on tummy, he will try to lunge his body forward by kicking furiously!
• appetite grows by the day
• his tantrums are "better", still screams when he wants his milk, but have somehow mellow a bit. Nowadays, he will give you early signal first... one hand in mouth, then the other followed by some noise he will make... if you are not ready to give him by then, be PREPARED!
• getting more talkative - infact just now, he had a "chat" with Ethan with different tones of his voice, as if he was trying to "say" something. Will post the video one day.
• his hair has grown quite fast as well, can see shades of his beautiful black hair growing back!

Ethan, poor boy caught viral fever last Tuesday and recovered on Thurs, but refused to go school on Fri, so we left him at home to be fully rested, was given some antibiotics. Finally back to school today with lots of energy! in fact he didnt nap today, but was ok when back just now, wasnt grouchy and ate quite a fair bit of stuff for dinner, which is unusual of him if he doesnt nap, energy boosted after the "hibernation" last week for days...what he missed in lesson last week? The letter "J", the number 3 and eating habits, junk food! will teach him those things he missed. They had an excursion trip last week to Giant supermarket, he went for the trip but didnt get to do the fruit salad in the afternoon cause he then caught the fever and was home already.

His appetite is back and its a good sign to see that. :)

Caden - 1Q liao!

i turned 3 months old liao few days back...here is my Q1 progress report...

• can hold a long"conversation" with people - not with real language yet, but i respond with my limited vocabulary of "oooo....aaaaa....eeeee....heeeee....orrrrrr", i can also add in a laughter if you're funny
• i have radar sense kinda of vision... i can "sense and follow" a person around, my vision is a 6/6 - mummy n daddy done some experiment to test me on this and i proved it to them.
• i am trying to get use to bottle but honestly, dont like it
• i can move my body sideways, soon i should be able to do the 180 degree flip
• botak hair feels alright, dont perspire that much anymore

mummy, daddy, what place is this? why is the auntie happily snipping away people's hair? why why? tell me? am i next? am i?

hey easy auntie, what is that thing on my head? so noisy and ticklish? hey, wait a minute, i see half of my baby silky black hair gone? wassup??

alamak! the other side also now gone!! there goes all my hair!! hey, stop stop!!

i wish i can speak and walk, then i wont be a sitting duck! botak liao la! omi to fo....

wait a minute, it does feel kinda of "airy" right now and cool! i am starting to kinda like this look... the "botak" look.... and no more perspiring on head and "smell" .... and i think i look quite good and cool with it... yeah! btw, daddy and mummy kept my hair for memories.. :)

Think this is a first pix with 3 of us in it... sitting on Ethan's bed and reading Fireman Sam story to both.. mummy bought the 2nd hand book for $2 only, thanks mummy! Caden also seems to like listening to stories, he will keep still and "stares" at the book! :)

"Neo-prints"!! Remember the craze once upon a time?

Neo-prints, when it first arrived in Singapore, it was all crazy, almost everyone had a photo sticker taken of them or with friends on to their phone, bag or something! memories uh.. For the fun of it, last-last weekend, all of us headed to Tampines Mall for lunch and then relived those memories.. check it out!

Bear and Chicken get ready for School...

What is the play about: Bear and Chicken are back! They are getting ready to go to a new school. But moving from their familiar school to a new one is scary. Together Bear and Chicken decide to join the Circus. Wouldn’t it be fun to be the circus clown, acrobat or even the lion tamer?What entails is a charming discovery that not all lessons in life are learnt in a classroom and perhaps the circus isn’t all fun and games after all.This play illustrates how sometimes our fears can be blown out of proportion but with a good friend at your side; you can overcome a potentially daunting situation like the first day of school. Perhaps school can even be fun!

Ethan's school have an excursion trip for the play above and he was very excited about it! Got up early at 730am, and set off to school to catch the bus that will bring them to the play at DBS Arts Centre. He even reminded me on the things that was asked by his teacher to bring for trip... jacket in case if its cold - check, water bottle with sling to carry - check and DIAPERS cos there is only 2 toilets at the theater - check. Hope he enjoyed it and will share with us the story later in the evening..

Caden is growing and progressing well, we measured his weight for fun and he is close to tipping the 6kg range... he is very alert being curious on the surroundings ... and we think he might just do the "flip" pretty soon... nowadays when we place him on flat ground, he will use his legs to kick and he will have his body "jerk" sideways... should be in few weeks time... here are some of his latest pix..

check out my arms' "lil mousey" and dont i look good in sleeveless? :) can see my dimple? i have it on both sides.. :) And dd said, this or next weekend and if time permits, we will go watch a movie ... How to Train Your Dragon.. :) Caden may be just a lil too young for it yet, so he wont join us..

Our first "family potrait"...

Taken this morning, our first family potrait.. Also today, Ethan's school had their Parents Day celebration and they made it into an ala-Amazing Race event, dd and i formed a team and thou we didnt win, we had lots of fun! it was a wet morning as well as at one stage it was pouring with rain, but there were shelters around, so it was alright... we came in 14th overall... how coincidental that the number is my birthdate! :) And also dd said, "it doesnt matter if we win or lose, what is important is that we did our best and had fun!"

Caden turned 2 months old ... Ethan getting rebellious by the day

Caden turns 2 months old yesterday.. he is showing traits of being a very talkative lil fella knowing how to respond ooo...aaaahhhh.... eeee.... when spoken to. Here are some of the latest pix of him in different angles and pose. As for Ethan, he is in the 3-4 years old range now, also known as the "monster-age", this is the time when a child will start to mould their character and test the limits of "how far they can go" with things... As a parent, we will need to try our best to enforce the discpline and teach the proper manners and behaviour, it is no easy task especially if your child is smart and can speak well... but guess just need to keep on trying... can easily get to your nerves at times... :P

Newborn vaccination package..

Gosh! How time flies! Caden turning to 2 months old!!

The title says it all... how time flies! LNY is over... and Caden is 2 months old in a few days time! At one stage Caden was crying relentlessly at night for no particular reason, so we went down to offer our prayers to the temples opposite our house as a sign of respect. For those who knows where our house is would know that there are a total of 5 temples opposite our house. And strangely enough, his relentless crying stopped when we offered our prayers to all temples there. Certain things we just need to believe...

Caden had his 2nd vacinnation taken this week, he handled it well and did not develop fever thereafter. Our lil dear friend also showed good physical and mental development progress, being able to lift his head when lied on the tummy; able to follow movements of objects from side to side; able to recognise faces and even smile to familiar ones... smart lil fella! Also lil fella weighs 5kg plus now at barely 2 months old.. better dont keep weighing, there is a "pantang"

Ethan, our poor boy finally succumbed to the cough and flu virus his friends had in school, was down for 2 days and didnt go school. At one stage, 3/4 of his class had either the flu or cough virus. Also he has lost some weight due to that, time to "pump" him back! He has since recovered and back to himself. Getting very "chatty" nowadays too and Teacher Wendy also commented he is getting more vocal nowadays. He is also very excited about the Junior Science Class we enrolled him to, past lessons they learnt about materials; soft, hard and etc.ie Glass is hard, glass can break; paper is soft, paper can tear...

hi all, Gong Xi Fa Cai! It has been very busy weeks for us! Caden had a mini celebration of sort amongst family only for his full month on 6th Feb; then dd celebrated his birthday together on same occasion; then dd and mm also adjusting their schedule to having Caden at home; me, Ethan, enrolled for Junior Science class in school, new friends, new things to learn and now its Lunar New Year, lots of last minute "spring" cleaning and shopping! Gosh so many happenings in such short time! :) But its all good and lotsa of fun! And here is the latest pix of us both.. New Beginning, New Blogsite.. new lil brother at home

hi all, to reflect a "new" beginning with the arrival of our lil brother to the family, the blogsite address has changed. Lil brother Prince Caden arrived on the 9th Jan 2010, weighing more than 7 pounds +. He and mummy came back on the 11th and both are doing fine. Caden still has slight jaundice tho but at the rate he is drinking, soon it should clear all in his stool...

Look at the pix and can you tell who is who? One of it is actually mine, while the other is Caden! :)

Caden was also very nice to have bought a new toy for me, a Cash Register that comes with speaker to page for people "money" and credit card! He also bought me Ribena sweets wor, so it will sweeten our brotherhood they say! :)

Will update more when daddy hv time... both mummy n daddy adjusting to the new addition in our family..

hi, we would like to wish everyone a very happy new year and may 2010 be a great year filled with happiness, prosperity and wealth for everyone.. how i marked the new year... well on that day, i woke up, took off my diaper, dumped it in the bin, took out a set of new clothes, changed it out from my pyjamas and went to the room to greet dd, mm and my lil bro! hey, am i a big boy already or wat? :) today is first day of new year back to school, noticed many new faces, waiting for Teacher Wendy to introduce us tho.. As to the other happening, we are all anticipating for the arrival of my lil brother... he is still v comfy inside mm and not wanting to come out yet.. will update again when he arrives.
