My Development
Some brief updates of my development...
Today I've learnt the motion of PUSH and PULL :
- I push with my hand open
- I feel the thrill of pushing chairs all over the place
- I pull with my hand close
- I can have so much fun playing tug of war with fingers
- I can relate the meaning of the words with actions
Other developments :
- I'm in my 18th month as to date.
- DD & MM have been trying to count the size of my vocab, but I think it's a waste of time cos I can simply repeat a word after hearing once or twice. My speech has reached up to the level of joining 3 words together. I speak mainly english and recently added some chinese wordings to my library.
- I run and speed like a mini rocket now and dash out of sight in seconds. I climb chairs with ease.
- I love watching Barney, but limited up to 20 minutes per session. Max 2 sessions per day.
- I love sticker books and nursery rhymes, esp 'Sing a song of Sixpence'. Asking MM and DD to 'sing song' every single day (MM getting real sick of having to sing the same song average twice an hour every day).
- I dash for the study room chair (the study room door is closed most of the time), sits on the chair and starts to type on the laptop keyboard vigorously at every chance.
- My favourite computer programme is 'Boowa and Kwala', a blue dog and a yellow koala bear which can sing and dance. And also the ABC animated programme.
- I can climb up staircase to the 10th storey, with little assistance. That's how i get my super strong limbs.
- I have 16 teeth now. Just waiting for the last 4 molars to sprout. And I dislike brushing my teeth and tongue.
That's about it for now..
Feigning
Ok you made yr pact. Now cross our fingers so you will bring me to the playground soon.
A Thing For Shoes
I really have a thing for shoes recently, dashing at any opportunity to wear the pair of shoes lying on the floor in the house. I do consider myself outgrown my own shoes and prefer DD or MM shoes instead. Cos they look more interesting cos of the diff shapes and sizes and heights too!
A Brief Encounter With Sentosa Beach
We had a last min plan to go sentosa on saturday and decided to go to the beach for some relaxation and sand-y fun. I got to use my sand tools which I used to scoop water at home very often. Now I finally know the 'true' use of these tools.
I realised individual effort takes alot more of my strength. So I initiated teamwork with DD. He made sandcastle building a breeze~
Instead of using the fork to dig, I chose to bury it.
1st thing 1st, pour the sand into the mould..
Fill it to the brim..
And then topple it.. ;P
Check out the look on my face, I just love the beach.. lotsa bikini babes lying around in the great sunny day which I think DD agrees with me.. and lotsa sand for me to play with. Let's go again DD!

Big Shoes to Fill
Science Project I
We started with our 1st science experiment on last week, to observe how the green n red beans spout. Apparently, they spouted real fast! With just water and sunlight, they bloomed into a mini forest...
Day 3 - Leaves spouted out!!
1 week later - Ta da! The verdict is that the green beans spouted much faster than the red ones. But the red ones caught up rather fast. Wonder if the leaves can be eaten.. hmm..
Day 2 - Starting to see something peeping out..
