He's all good now..

Prince have fully recovered! TCM does work.. infact we plan to send him there monthly just to maintain the good chi flow.. and its not tat costly either, its $16 per massage for abt 20 mins... tats cheap compared to ending up in clinic with cough syrup tat doesn't really work effectively.. => Other great development:

• he can now sit un-supported, not for too long yet tho
• he been crawling leopard style all tis while, but 2 days ago, he is on all 4 with a rockin motion but not going forward w tis position yet
• he tried cereal today, abit but not too much, maybe gettin used to it
• he's not been drinkin too much milk n today abit grouchy, think his teeth comin out liao! he's also "spittin" out saliva nowadays as he talks...
• he's startin to recognize people
• he's been super talkative, murmuring words with short shrieks and vowel sort of stuff
• he wants to stand at all times, and lying down for too long, n he does hv the leg muscle to support his body frame.. and best part he does the forward direction movin.. maybe imitating us

TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine, did u all know tat babies as young as newborn can actually go for massages and physiotherapy? don't know uh.. well, we brought prince to tis place which fm the outer looks like a "ulu" place but u will be surprised with the no. of ppl who knows abt tis place.. it seems to be rather popular. and it'll be fully packed on weekends. well, we brought prince there cos his phlegm has not cleared, though he is hyper, we wanted him to get it out of the system, so decided to try tis method recommended by teacher Nor fm the infant class. it was a 20 mins affair, where his hand, back n chest were massaged, its probably to enhance the chi n blood circulation in the body so tat the phlegm will disperse.. he now sleeps with a "herb bag" to his tummy to help expel the phlegm as well. 3 visits required to get it totally out, so nx one will be Thurs n Fri. Well, worth a try since nothin needs to be consumed.. anyway you can also bring your kids for massages monthly to strengthen their body system as well. for anyone interested, ping us, we will share with u the location.. cheerio!

Recoverin path..

Our 'botak' but still handsome prince is in the stage of recovery from his cough and runny nose. Still got a little phelgm in the throat tt he doesnt know how to let it out. So a little massage (taught by his granny) seemed to make him much more comfy. His appetite is also slowly gaining back now.. a great relief to us since he has lost some weight since last week. Resisted drinking formula milk n insisted on drinking only breastmilk!! Well we all know tat, breastmilk is definitely the best 'medicine' in helpin him boost up his immune system again but mummy needs to work harder to express more lor and tat makes her feel like "HL factory"! :P Meanwhile, hope our lil prince will recover fully b4 we start him on solid food. Have already bought a can of plain rice cereal for a start. Looking forward to his 'fei fei pang pang' look again.. :) also there is a belief, tat for every stage of major development to a child, they tend to fall sick n hv some major changes to habit to mark the transition... true or not?

Sigh, poor Prince have cough..

Sigh, poor Prince have cough n phlegm, so he feelin lil under the weather yesterday n today. thankfully tho there is no fever, and he is still active but just feelin abit tired, maybe caused by the medicine.. not sure if it was becos of too much goin out during the long weekend with the eractic weather condition or maybe got it from school.. anyway, lets hope he recovers soon.. one update tho, he can now officially crawl expertly the leopard style.. :) even now tat he is not too well.. as for his "bald" new look, there were mixed reactions, some liked it. some didnt' ... as for us, the comments didnt matter.. we think he shld hv his hair grown back soon before u even know it... k, i need to get some rest, slept not too much last night gettin up to make sure he was alright.. good nite all~ btw, not tat mummy didnt care, she is also feelin lil under the weather, hope she also recovers soon..

Finally, a proper family portrait taken at the studio yesterday.. well, jus a day b4 Ethan gets his crew cut since his beautiful hair is shedding away in portions.. Lurvely eh!

updates..

since last posting, Ethan now can:

• CRAWL many more inches! :) soon he should be an expert
• he is drinking 160ml of milk nowadays n soon we will introduce him to rice cereal
• he is talkative, as he likes to chatter. some say becos daddy also like tat
• he is also "grinding" on his gums nowadays, sign of teething?
• nx on the list, when he is 6 mths plus, maybe bring him for a swim
• we seems to be amazed with new things, we coaching him on cause n effect items now, like spinning tops, flying saucers n bubbles
• slowly introducin him to flash cards as well, but he doesn't have long interest for these yet
• as for story telling, he loves it! :)

will write again when hv time. tis is a short working week, look forward to going somewhere nearby for a short break of sort.. :)
