CNY n another MAJOR milestone

Tis is Ethan's first CNY n an "unforgetable" one it is going to be for him for sure... cos he saw too many new faces tat he has problem registering who is who, thus givin him nightmares... so, today we decided to stay put n let him settle down... also gave him some Woodward Gripe water, he didnt take much but hopefully enough to calm him down... aside to being the centre of attention, he must be thinkin as well why people givin him red packets.. well, told him its a tradition to welcome lunar new year n am suppose to bring him health n good growing... of course to daddy n mummy is luck n wealth as well.. :) well, tmr is another big day for him as will be his first trip out of SG, hopefully he will find the journey not too tiring to ride in our car for long... got to start packing our stuff as well.. we'll be driving to MY. now coming to the MAJOR milestone.. Prince Ethan today lifts up his butt n uses his knee to push himself forward and it was a good few inches forward!! and he did it TWICE!! yeah!! we believe with further encouragement, he shld be able to master the leopard crawl in few weeks time... woo hoo!!!

his hand must be real tasty n he is sucking his hand n fingers nowadays..

one more thing, he did tis mornin, he learnt how to flip, slept on his tummy n knew how to adjust his face so as to not be pressing against the bed!! so smart!

tats wat tis expression says..

weekend was nice, we went scout nearly whole Singapore and finally found a traditional chinese cheong sam (boy version) for him.

We also went toa payoh yesterday n bought ethan "bath seat", its one of those mesh chair tat the bb sits in n gets their bath, great to have especially travelling. Will post the pix so u all know wat i'm talking about.

also we brought him out in his Patapum baby carrier, cool, he didnt complain and was alright with it. Saves us from bringin the pram which can be quite troublesome in crowded places.

We also went to Popular and bought him a nursery rhyme poster which is now in his play corner, also bought him his first hard cover All Time Favourite Rhymes and Stories.

Oh ya, he had some rashes on his face on the weekend, so we bought "Hazeline Snow" and applied to moisturise his complexion. :P

And fyi, if your baby often have nappy rash, use Desitin (Creamy), its very effective and highly recommended by PDs.

But if you want to just protect, it seems Vaseline also can do.

Last but not least, in sch last friday, he did another "masterpiece", his first finger blot painting. Will try to take a pix and post it here.

Oh one more thing, there is an Econ minimart at Compassvale St, and they are selling Dryper M size, $16.80, definately cheaper than Kiddy Palace. :)

Play Gym - bought by Linda "ah ee" n some other poses

now tat i can flip, turn n learn to crawl, tis play gym with lotsa of fishes is fun to play! i also learnt how to kick the ball at the end of it today! =)
